Replication Test Package

Explore our replication test package

For a fast introduction to our replication technique, we recommend our replication test package.

The package includes the preparation, realization and analysis of a test replication using a customized design with the aim to evaluate the compatibility of the design with our platform, upscaling possibilities/risks and provision best replicated samples for inspection at the customer site.

Content of Test Package

The investigation and potential adaptation of your design onto thermoplastic polymer films can be customized, typically involving the following steps:

FAQ

R2R (Roll-to-Roll) technology is a manufacturing process that involves the continuous processing of thin films on a roll. It’s a highly efficient and scalable method for producing large quantities of products at a lower cost. We are currently offering the replication services for Lab-on-a-foilOptical application, and Development of Functional surfaces.

The replication test package is available for just EUR 10,000. It typically includes design consultancy, mastering services, R2R replication, and analysis. However, the specific services may vary depending on the project. Please contact us to discuss the details of your project further.

Lead time may vary depending on each project’s specifications. Complex designs could delay the process. While we offer a variety of thermoplastic polymers, there are still some limitations with certain types of materials.

From the design discussion to Analysis generally takes 2-3 months, depends on the complexity of the design and specific requirements.

Choosing between Roll-to-Roll Extrusion Coating (R2R-EC) and Roll-to-Roll UV Nanoimprint Lithography (R2R UV-NIL) depends on your specific application needs, materials, and desired outcomes. R2R-EC is capable of producing large quantities, making it ideal for high-volume manufacturing (high throughput) and allowing for the replication of large-area imprints. In contrast, R2R UV-NIL is typically slower due to the need for precise alignment and curing processes, making it less suitable for high-volume production and generally more costly than R2R-EC.
